Meet Debbie

Debbie DiGirolamo (she/her/hers)

I have over twenty years of experience, including Social Work, Counseling, Equine Facilitated Mental Health Therapy, and volunteer work in my community.

I have had a life long love and affinity of animals and nature. I spent many hours of my young life exploring my local nature centers, farms, and reservoir. Upon graduating from high school, I attended Holy Family University where I studied Psychology and Human Services. I began my career in the field of Social Work as a Care Manager and advocate in aging. After years of caring for my family, I pursued my desire for higher education and received my M.A in Counseling from Missio Seminary. My experience includes working in the field of addictions as well as with survivors of human trafficking. As a therapist, I have worked with Veterans, first responders and their loved ones in Equine Facilitated Mental Health, in church based care programs , and in private practice. I enjoy spending time in outdoor activities such as biking, playing with my grandchildren, and gardening. I love traveling and am continually following my curious nature through reading and studying ever evolving interests. The photos on this website are some of the sights I have experienced.

I continue to pursue personal and professional learning and development as part of my own self care. My personal spiritual journey has inspired me throughout my life while energizing my interest and commitment as a person and a therapist.
